a good dashboard is one that can be wandered around, sans aim, sans goal, yet retains the feel of accomplishment, of discovery, of serendipestuous verisimilipulchritude. i come to this abrupt conclusion after wandering this wordpress dashboard jsut long enough to find my new favorite blog, which has not yet been released.
my fist oof-site link was to the blog of Michael Heilemann, who designed my lovelyblue (if not a tad TopHeavy – what do you think?) blog headerblockbar thingy that holds my blog title in such a stately yet amicable manner. which is really ThePoint, at the very least in the TopTen points, of ThingsThatAreImportantAboutBlogHeaderBlockBarThingys. that is to say, the point is, to be stately, yet amicable. to afford to me, yon humble blogger, a smidge of class and respectability, with little or no effort on my part, erstwhilst keeping a Sens of humanity, of commune-ity, in an increasingly anonymous world.
i love my blue blogworld. it is peaceful here. everybody knows me here.
